The Moment.

When The Thought / Sense Emerges.

विचार और वृत्ति

Mind is a timeless flow of Thought / Sense. Thought is विचार, Sense is वृत्ति. 

Consciousness / चेतना  is the background  wherein and Where-from arise both - So entwined that its very difficult to distinguish between the two. Yet it isn't so difficult when attention is given to the emergence of either of the two. The fact that it's the fragmented attention indeed that makes it difficult to see how both emerge out from one and the same original source.

Thought is inevitably and essentially made of the spoken words, while the Sense is basically devoid of any word.

Thought is ever so in the verbal format while Sense always in and of the form of experience / feeling. Inextricably associated with each other, appear to be one and the same.

The Consciousness on the other hand ever so unaffected and un-associated with either and any of the two remains in the background. Its neither aware nor unaware of the Mind /  मन, but manifests only as and through the  attention alone that is the ever-present Realitya, always available to all living beings.

Whosoever is a living being, has this inherent attention and conversely, who-so-ever has this attention is a living being without exception.

This संघात / the Vector, the combination that is made up of the Thought and the Feeling is truly the devatA  /  देवता principle upon which is founded the  स्वर्गलोक / देवलोक, The Sphere or the Realm of the celestial divine beings.

That is really how in that sense, the whole Universe / Existence is suffused by Divinity.

The point is :

We all humans are always governed by these myriad Thoughts and Feelings. Driven by them we become a victim of the whims imposed by them, upon us.

This model Realm of the Celestial Divine Beings /  देवता / देवलोक keeps all the time forcing us to go in so many various and different directions and we like a animal slave to their whims can hardly sense this truth.

This Realm of devatA  /  देवता लोक / स्वर्ग-लोक has it's very own administrative way of Governance where they have A King - Indra, A Lord MahAdeva / Shiva, A Preceptor / deva-Guru, a Supreme Military Commander / Skanda. Everyone of them could be propitiated collectively or individually and this is really the Polytheism.

Still above Them, is yet another Truth, that could not be categorized in terms of one or many nor even as no-one or the Zero / शून्य. 

देवी अथर्वशीर्ष  devI atharvasheerSha points out and describes this Truth,  the Reality in the words :

शून्यानां शून्यसाक्षी 

This is how the Supreme Reality is just  indescribable.

Discovering Where-from the Thought and the Sense emerges out, where-in it plays for the time being  a while, and subsequently disappears is the Abode. 

आब्रह्मभुवनाल्लोकाः पुनरावर्तिनोऽर्जुन।।

यद्गत्वा न निवर्तन्ते तद्धाम परमं मम।। 

Is verily this Abode.
