Life in the retrospect

Looking at one's own life in retrospect may cause a curiosity about :

Why this happened to me!

The funniest part of this exploration may be that how one connects the proverbial 'dots' in this autosketch. Though there may be number of ways and perspectives and you can draw as many a pictures of your own - many an albums and all them quitedifferent and independent from all the rest. One may though claim oneself a person with a name and a personality, all these albums may not verify exactly who one is!

Two Perspectives :

I remember, way back in the year 1984, I was living in a jungle-house in Hardwar at Bhupatwala on the Rishikesh Road. A Sannyasi named Swami Nityanand had built an Ashram there on the Road to the Ganges. He named the Ashram :

niShAma mission.

Living there, everyday in yhe morning, I had to cross over the road and go to the jungle to attend nature's call. There was the rail-line parallel to the motor road. I would go through the bridge under the rails. Deep peace prevailed all over there, and I instinctively felt it was because of the River Ganges. 

The same peace and blissful joy I had felt when I lived at Omkareshwar, and at Sri Ramana Ashram in Tiruvannamalai.

Living at Sat-dhara on the banks of the River Narmada also, I often come across such trans-like states of blissful silence.

These three dots I can connect to sketch a picture of what happened to me but I can't explain what brought me to these places

Sri Ramana Maharshi was a devotee of Bhagawan Arunachsleshwara and had told that though outwardly this Holy hill at Tiruvannamalai looks dry and arid, holds a great secret, as It is but the form of the same Divinity -

Bhagawan Arunachsleshwara.

Likewise, I too feel and think the Rivers Ganges and Narmada are the Divinity. Manifest. 

In the year 2015, when I was studying skanda purana I found there-in a part describing "Narmada PuraNa". About a week ago found a copy of this text here at Sat-dhara.

Just wonder, exactly what or who might be there, that chalks out our course of destiny or the Individual Life!
